THE FAQ

  1. Do I have to make a video to participate?
Heck No! In fact, we need more commenters than video makers, otherwise the project won't work! In fact, all video makers are expected to also be commenters. For more on commenting, see the Project for Awesome Commenting Guide.
  2. Where Can I get the center image:
Oh...well it's right here! Thanks for asking.

  3. How do I get it into my video?
Right click (PC) or Apple click (mac) the image and select "save image as." Save it to your desktop, and then drag it into your editing program.
  4. How do I make that image my thumbnail for the video?
YouTube makes the precise middle of your video your thumbnail. So you have to put it into the precise middle of your video. So once you're done editing your video and you will make NO MORE CHANGES! Then use this tool (http://www.brotherhood2.com/thumbfinder) to find your exact middle. Then make sure that the image displays at that mid point (with a second or so on either side just in case.)
  5. The ThumbFinder did something weird and it says 1: 6 (or something like that)?
Sorry, that's a bug, and I haven't fixed it. If it says 1: 6 that means 1:06 (2: 2 means 2:02 etc.) It's just not displaying that zero for some reason.
  6. I can't upload right at noon...is that OK?
Yeah, totally...we're trying to synchronize as much as possible, but I know we can't what with work, school, and it being like 4AM in Australia.
  7. I don't have a camera...or a mic...or a computer...can I still upload by strapping a camel onto my 1960's TV and shooting it with an EMP pulse?
Hey...if you can do it, and get it on youtube...do WHATEVER YOU CAN! If it's just text over images with no audio that's totally cool with me. If it's your voice over the Nerdfighter Power image, that's totally fine too. You can do whatever you can to participate, the more the marrier.
  8. Why Today?
    Why not?
  9. Is YouTube going to be angry with us?
Nope. We're not doing anything wrong...AND we're doing it for a good cause AND some of the most prominent youtubers are joining us, so we've got nothing to worry about.

I think that just about covers every single question I was asked! SO WOOHOO!!!
